If the unit runs but product conditions are not being met, do not confuse a system display with the temperature experienced by the goods. A few records with the same timestamp provide an initial distinction.

Check the load and airflow path

Record the conditions under which the product left storage and when it was loaded. Visually check whether the load blocks supply or return airflow, whether there is pallet clearance and whether doors close fully.

Give the technician useful evidence

Record setpoint, return air, product reading, door openings and defrost observations with timestamps. Add photos and service history if there is evaporator icing, an alarm code or physical damage.

If product instructions are not met, assess the shipment under the operation's procedure. Do not open refrigerant, electrical or pressurised components; refer suspected faults to an authorised service technician.
